London, May 2014. His Grace The Most Rev Robert Rivas, Archbishop of Castries, during his visit to London, attended a luncheon on 31 May, hosted by Delegate for Great Britain and Ireland, HE Mr Anthony Bailey at Monteagle House, East Twickenham.
Following the luncheon, His Grace visited the Church of the Most Sacred Heart in Ruislip, Middlesex, where he concelebrated and spoke at the Mass on Saturday, 31 May. The Parish through the late Constantinian knight Nicola Vecchione, KSG, has offered financial support to the Marian Home for the Elderly in Castries, St Lucia. This relationship started in 1981 and continues to this day.
Archbishop Rivas also concelebrated the Mass on Sunday, 1 June, and thanked the parishioners for their longstanding support for the Church in St Lucia.
